BOSS GP DIJON

For the second time Jenzer Motorsport took part in the 2012 Boss GP Series, this time with only one driver,”Luke Skywalker” in a World Series by Renault 3.5. The series was part of the brilliant “Grand Prix de l’Age d’Or” at the popular Dijon-Prenois (F) circuit.

In free practice on Friday “Luke ” was already 3^rd fastest in the “Masters” category. On Saturday in qualifying he was 4^th in class though in Race One he didn’t get the flying start he had hoped for. That meant no improvement in position, though he still managed to bring it home in 4th after a trouble free run.

Race Two was very exciting. “Luke” worked his way up to 3^rd, and then launched an attack for 2^nd. Unfortunately this led to a 360° spin, and although he was able to continue, he had lost ground. However, the others didn’t fare much better, and in the closing stages with the finish line in sight one car ahead of him went off into the gravel trap, meaning that “Luke Skywalker” made it onto the podium in 3^rd and laughing all the way!
