Matias Zagazeta starts with Jenzer Motorsport in the FIA F3 Championship

With Matias Zagazeta we announce the first driver of this year's Jenzer Motorsport driver line-up in FIA F3.

Matias Zagazeta is a 20 year old racing driver, from Lima, Peru. His sporting career led from national successes in karting to the USA and later to the step to international karting in Europe. Matias then progressed to formula racing, which he began in 2020 in the FIA F4 British Championship. He finished his second season in the category in 2021 as an excellent runner up. After two seasons in FIA Formula Regional he participated in the 2023 FIA F3 post season test days with our team and took up the challenge to start in the 2023 FIA F3 Macau World Cup with us. After this special experience he is keen to start in the 2024 FIA F3 Championship with Jenzer Motorsport.

Working already with the team during testing and the Macau Grand Prix helped us understand the position we are in and get to know the team. I am excited to see what next year will bring and we will work hard to achieve some memorable results together.“
